In recent years, Sichuan has vigorously promoted the development of advantageous industries and brand exhibitions. A number of new professional exhibitions have emerged and give impetus to the province's industrial development.

"This year we are going to hold the Second China International Smart Cars Forum, as well as the First China Smart Cars Entrepreneurship Competition and the First China Smart Cars Exhibition for professional audiences," said Pang Chunlin, secretary-general of the Vehicle Information Service Industry Application Alliance.

The exhibition industry is closely related to regional industrial development. On the one hand, industry develops as cities grow bigger. On the other hand, industry boosts the development of cities and fosters the growth of cities. For example, the German industrial city Hannover launched the famous Hannover Industrial Fair, which helped Germany take the lead in the global industry.

In 2014, the Sichuan provincial government began to accelerate the development of the five high-end growth industries and five emerging pilot service industries. Then the Sichuan Expo Affairs Bureau planned the China Smart Cars Forum, the China (Chengdu) International General Aviation Development Forum, the Western China Flat Panel Display Industry Forum and the 2014 Western Electronic Commerce Development Forum. When these forums made their debut at the 15th Western China International Fair, they attracted many people.

This year, these professional exhibitions will also be arranged to speed up industrial development in Sichuan Province.
