Chinese golden pair Zhang Jun and Gao Ling waltzed into the second round of the mixed doubles at the inaugural Badminton China Open in Guangzhou.
The Athens Olympic gold medallists defeated their counterparts from Seychelles in straight sets 15-3, 15-2.
Another Chinese pair, Chen Qiqiu and Zhao Tingting, also advanced into the second round with a 2-0 victory over the shuttlers from Hong Kong.
In men's singles, all 13 Chinese players cruised to the second round. Chinese youngster Bao Chunlai beat Wei Renjun of Hong Kong 15-6,13-15,15-3 in a well fought match.
