Kung Fu Panda 2, the sequel to 2008's Kung Fu Panda, is a 3D computer-animated action comedy, which was released on May 26 this year. Directed by Korean American director Jennifer Yuh Nelson, the film was produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. In this story, Po is living his dream as the Dragon Warrior, but he and his fellow kung fu masters, the Furious Five, have to fight a formidable villain to protect the Valley of Peace. The 92-minute film grossed US$165,249,063 in the United States and Canada, along with US$497,775,479 in other countries, for a worldwide total of US$663,024,542, surpassing the original Kung Fu Panda in late August, 2011.
