Founded in 1999, Alibaba Group (1688.HK) has become a leading e-commerce site that serves more than 65 million members from more than 240 countries and territories. In many people's heart, Jack Ma is a god. However, both his Alipay equity transfer from Yahoo on May 13, 2011 and the Taobao Mall spat incident in October have made Ma highly disreputable. Ma's decision to increase fees from small vendors has disappointed customers and clients. Due to the above incidents, Ma took the top spot on the "Disappointing IT CEOs of 2011" list.
