Zhang Jike, a top Chinese table tennis player, rose to fame in 2008 when he won the men's singles title after beating three Olympic champions -- Ma Lin, Wang Liqin and Wang Hao. Zhang won gold at both the World Championships and Men's World Cup in singles in 2011. He was also the champion of the 2012 World Team Table Tennis Championships.

Zhang features an aggressive and dynamic style of play. He will be the fourth male player, and the quickest one in the sport, to achieve a career grand slam in singles, if he wins the upcoming Olympic gold.
