Although originally a Singaporean singer-songwriter, Stefanie Sun does the majority of her recording and conducts most of her publicity events in Taiwan, where her biggest following resides. In 2000, Sun graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where she obtained a degree in Marketing. After that, her vocal talents were discovered by music teacher Lee Wei Song. With eleven albums to her name so far, Sun is considered to be one of Singapore's most successful singers, only coming in second to Kit Chan. In May 2011, she married Nadim Van Der Ros, a Dutch-Indonesian senior executive at Aviva.
